Chronic Sinusitis

Dr. Green
Chronic sinusitis is a common condition that most often affects young and middle-aged adults, but it can also affect children. People with chronic sinusitis have sinuses that become inflamed and swollen for at least 12 weeks, despite treatment attempts.

Dr. Flemings
The inflammation of tissues in the sinuses interferes with drainage and can cause mucus buildup. It can make breathing through the nose difficult, and make other parts of the face feel swollen or tender.
